Job summary

Truist seeks a senior leader to provide risk oversight for the enterprise data risk program across the EDRO and related areas. The role requires deep technical expertise in data platforms, architecture, and AI risks, and the ability to translate insights into actionable oversight strategies.

Collaboration with 1LoD and senior executives is essential to elevate the team’s technical fluency and ensure credible challenge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technology, data, business or finance is required.
• Fifteen plus years of senior management experience in banking, technology, operations, risk management and/or regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EDRO Coverage and Operating Model with risk advisory and independent risk assessment.
• Contribute to Enterprise Data Management Policy and Data Risk Policy related to new laws and regulations.
• Engage with senior partners to communicate EDRO requirements and drive accomplishment of objectives.
• Provide risk advisory and act as a strategic partner to elevate data risk governance across the enterprise.
