Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• 10+ years in banking, technology, operations, or risk management.
• Experience with AI lifecycle governance and risk assessment methods.
• Knowledge of AI regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
• Strong business acumen and executive communication.
• Ability to operate independently and navigate ambiguity.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for credibility with leadership.
• Proven ability to manage complex initiatives and deliver executive work.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent risk oversight for AI across technology and business units.
• Serve as SME for AI risk framework, reporting and mitigation.
• Assess maturity and adequacy of AI controls to balance growth and risk.
• Promote proactive risk culture with risk teams and partners.
• Review first line risk program outcomes and challenge results.
• Monitor regulatory, compliance, and audit matters for AI risk areas.
