Databricks is seeking Solution Architects to lead the growth of the Databricks Unified Analytics Platform. You will design architectures, guide customers through implementations, and collaborate with sales, post-sales, product teams, and developers to deliver tangible value.

The role requires expertise in data engineering, data science, and ML with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Expect travel to customer sites and active collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Competenze

• 7+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, or consulting role.
• Experience designing and architecting distributed data systems.
• Experience programming in Python, Scala, Java, SQL, or R and debugging these languages.
• Experience supporting Public Sector clients.
• Experience building solutions with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in Data Engineering technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
• Expertise in Data Warehousing (SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
• Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning (pandas, scikit-learn, HPO).
• Top Secret Security Clearance required.

Mansioni

• Partner with the sales team to help customers understand how Databricks can help solve their business problems.
• Provide technical leadership for customers to evaluate and adopt Databricks.
• Consult on big data architecture, implement proofs of concepts for strategic customer projects, data science and ML projects, and validate integrations with cloud services and other 3rd party applications.
• Build and present reference architectures, how-tos, and demo applications for customers.
• Become an expert in Databricks open-source projects and promote them across developer communities through meetups, conferences, and webinars.
• Travel to customers in your region.
