Job summary

Eve is looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to own our data platform end-to-end. You will manage ingestion, orchestration, and the modeling layer on a Snowflake-based architecture, collaborating with AI-enabled tooling and the central team.

You’ll set up reliability practices, alerting, and governance while advancing growth through robust data pipelines. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, observable data that informs leadership decisions weekly, reporting to the

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering owning production systems.
• Strong Python and SQL, with production experience across ingestion, orchestration, and cloud infrastructure.
• Solid Snowflake: access control, warehouse sizing, query performance, and cost management.
• Practical dbt: incremental models, testing, macros, and git-based CI.
• Comfort in a Terraform-managed environment with code-review processes.
• Experience building reliability practices: alerting, freshness SLAs, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Own ingestion through connectors and custom extraction from end to end.
• Orchestrate across dbt platform and GitHub Actions; optimize models and latency.
• Develop source-schema change detection and observability for critical tables.
• Drive reliability by handling failures upstream and cost tradeoffs.
• Share and extend the medallion architecture with Terraform footprint across environments.
• Collaborate on foundational modeling: source-to-staging patterns and SCDs.
