CVS Health is seeking a Principal Engineer, Data Platforms to lead the architecture and evolution of a cloud-native, enterprise-scale data platform spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will shape governance, security, and observability while enabling AI/ML workloads on a high-volume ingestion stack.

Lead cross-functional teams, drive IaC, policy automation, and cost optimization with FinOps, and establish scalable Databricks architectures with robust data governance and lineage.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience architecting enterprise-scale cloud data platforms.
• 8+ years with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and governance.
• 8+ years implementing IaC, automation, CI/CD andPolicy-as-Code.
• 7+ years in high-scale streaming/telemetry ingestion architectures.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and multi-year roadmap for data platform.
• Lead enterprise security, governance, and reliability practices.
• Mentor engineers and drive cloud-native engineering adoption.
• Develop strategic roadmaps for scalability, governance, and cost.
• Enable analytics and AI/ML workloads on governed data platforms.
