Job summary

EY is seeking an Assistant Director to shape enterprise data, analytics and AI capabilities. You will lead delivery of modern data platforms using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and related cloud technologies, guiding architecture and mentoring teams to build secure, scalable solutions.

You will influence AI adoption, enable generative AI and AI-powered analytics while partnering with business leaders and engineers across geographies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8–12 years in data engineering, platforms or analytics delivery.
• Experience leading development teams and guiding architecture decisions.
• Hands-on with enterprise data/analytics on Azure Databricks or Microsoft Fabric.
• Strong knowledge of data ingestion, transformation and production support.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for enterprise data, analytics and AI platform initiatives.
• Guide architecture decisions to meet security, scalability and quality requirements.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams through design, development, testing and deployment.
• Review data pipelines, platform integrations and analytics solutions for reliability and performance.
• Govern delivery timelines, risks and dependencies with appropriate QA controls.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Communicate risks and options clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support onshore and offshore transitions, including knowledge transfer and handoffs.
