Job summary

ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Data Acquisition team, one of the company's most strategic engineering areas. You will design and operate backend systems and data pipelines that ingest, transform, and store large data sets from diverse sources.

You will build production Java services, implement ETL/ELT workflows, and work with Airflow, Beam, Spark, Kafka, Pub/Sub, and cloud services to deliver scalable, reliable data infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering with backend/data engineering focus.
• Experience building and operating production data pipelines at scale.
• Deep proficiency with Java and OO design.
• Hands-on with Beam, Airflow, Spark, Dataflow or DataProc.
• Experience with Kafka, Pub/Sub, and streaming/batch processing.
• Ability to design ETL/ELT workflows for large data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate large-scale data acquisition pipelines ingesting and storing high-volume data.
• Architect ETL/ELT workflows for batch and streaming processing.
• Develop production Java services for ingestion, orchestration, and delivery.
• Leverage Airflow, Beam, Spark, Dataflow, DataProc, Kafka, Pub/Sub in production.
• Improve reliability, performance, and cost efficiency of data pipelines.
• Implement observability, monitoring, and alerting for pipeline health and data quality.
