Job summary

ZoomInfo Technologies LLC is seeking a senior backend engineer to own the platform integrations layer end‑to‑end, building reliable connections, data ingestion/exports, and complex orchestration for long‑running processes.

You will design and maintain inbound/outbound integrations with Salesforce and other APIs, and build high‑volume data services, RESTful and webhook APIs with robust patterns for rate limiting, errors, and versioning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on backend systems.
• Strong experience with Node.js (NestJS), JavaScript, and TypeScript; Java (Spring Boot) is a plus
• Experience integrating with external/third‑party APIs and building inbound/outbound integrations
• Experience building high‑volume data services with optimized processing time
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills; debugging complex issues
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, and JWT authentication/authorization
• Proficiency with MongoDB; comfort with relational/NoSQL; React is a plus
• Strong communicator and cross‑functional collaborator

Responsibilities

• Own the platform integrations layer end‑to‑end including connectivity, data ingestion/exports, and orchestration for long‑running processes
• Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations with third‑party platforms (e.g., Salesforce)
• Design and implement in‑house services for high‑volume data processing under tight time constraints
• Design and maintain RESTful and webhook‑based APIs with pagination, error handling, versioning, and backward compatibility
• Collaborate with product and platform teams to define integration requirements and SLAs/SLOs
• Build observability (logging, tracing, metrics) into integration systems and monitor production reliability
• Lead medium/large feature development within agile processes and conduct code reviews
• Stay current with emerging technologies and evaluate new tools for potential adoption
