Job description

We are looking for a Senior Data Modeler with deep expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and enterprise data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining data models in cloud-based and CRM environments, and working with cross-functional teams to meet data integration and reporting needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Evaluate user requests for new data elements and systems, integrating them into existing shared data environments.

Design and develop logical and physical data models, including entity relationship diagrams.

Implement and maintain database structures in Oracle Cloud RDBMS and Salesforce CRM.

Use and configure data modeling tools and platforms such as Tableau, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Informatica, and others.

Create scripts to implement database schema and data objects using modeling tools.

Update and maintain existing data models to accommodate evolving business requirements.

Develop source-to-target mapping documentation to support ETL development efforts.

Write and maintain stored procedures, PL / SQL packages, and database triggers.

Perform detailed requirements analysis and provide data mapping and modeling guidance to development teams.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills :

Experience working collaboratively with IT, development, operations, and business teams.

Ability to operate independently with limited supervision, showing initiative and sound judgment.

Strong problem-solving skills and a creative, solutions-driven mindset.

Excellent communication skills to keep stakeholders informed on data structure changes and project progress.

Familiarity with standard concepts, best practices, and procedures in data management.

Strong understanding of ETL processes including data extraction from diverse sources such as files, databases, and cloud platforms.

Certification in Azure Data Factory and / or Informatica is a plus.

Experience with Tableau dashboard creation and basic understanding of PERL scripting is preferred.

Education & Experience :

10+ years of hands-on experience in data modeling and enterprise data integration.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with both on-prem and cloud-based data solutions is highly desirable.
