Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Business Data Intelligence & Operations Analyst to bridge complex data environments with executive decision-makers. You will develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational reports for government contracting environments, leveraging Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce Analytics.

The role requires a data/CS background and 3+ years in BI/operational analytics, with strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to present data-driven insights to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5-8 years of experience (or commensurate).
• Security clearance: must be eligible to obtain a security clearance if required by position.
• 3+ years of professional experience in business intelligence, operational analytics, or federal consulting (DoD or Navy experience desirable).
• Strong proficiency in data visualization and BI platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce Analytics).
• Hands-on experience with data analysis & modeling tools (Python, SQL, JSON, R, Advanced Excel).
• Familiarity with cloud data engineering and AI/ML fundamentals, particularly AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain interactive executive dashboards and recurring operational reports using Tableau, Power BI, and Salesforce Analytics.
• Partner with senior leadership, government clients, and stakeholders to define KPIs and translate requirements into reporting specs.
• Perform operational, financial, and contract analyses to support strategic planning and process improvement.
• Deliver workforce and talent analytics to provide visibility into hiring pipelines and resource allocation.
• Conduct market research on federal agencies and GovTech trends to support business development and proposals.
• Present findings and executive briefings to senior leadership and client audiences for continuous improvement.
• Utilize SharePoint, Salesforce, and Costpoint to streamline reporting workflows.
