Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Business Data Intelligence & Operations Analyst to connect complex data environments with executive decision-makers. You will develop executive dashboards, KPI frameworks, and operational reports across federal, defense, and consulting operations.

You will collaborate with senior leadership and government clients to translate requirements into technical reporting specifications and deliver data-driven insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field and 3+ years of BI/operational analytics experience in gov/consulting environments.
• Security Clearance: must be eligible to obtain if required.
• Experience in business intelligence, operational analytics, or federal consulting (DoD or DoN exposure desirable).
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, and Salesforce Analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain executive dashboards and recurring operational reports using BI tools.
• Partner with senior leadership and government clients to define KPIs and translate requirements into specs.
• Perform detailed operational, financial, and contract analyses to support planning and performance management.
• Deliver workforce analytics on recruiting pipelines, hiring trends, and resource allocation.
• Conduct market research on government agencies and GovTech trends to support growth and proposals.
• Present findings and briefings to executives and clients to drive improvement.
• Utilize SharePoint, Salesforce, Costpoint to streamline reporting workflows.
