Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to design and implement metadata management, reference data management, and data quality monitoring. This role reports to the Data Governance Manager and leads moderately complex initiatives while handling routine projects.

The position emphasizes hands-on work with the chosen data governance solution, collaboration with business owners and engineers, and ensuring enterprise data quality and governance across domains.

Competenze

• Experience in data cataloging, data lineage, data classification, reference data management, and business glossary management.
• Experience with system and data integration via API.
• Experience with major EHR vended solutions and backend data architecture and data modeling.
• Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of database design, ETL, and data mapping.
• Experience with data quality monitoring and data quality improvement.
• Team player with ability to work across all levels of an organization.
• Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word; strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Develop conceptual and semantic models for enterprise domains, including hierarchies and taxonomies.
• Facilitate discussions to resolve ambiguous business terminology and establish precise definitions.
• Translate business concepts into computable semantic structures for MDM, catalogs, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with owners, stewards, architects, and engineers to align models with data architectures.
• Establish and maintain enterprise glossaries, ontologies, taxonomies, and reference data structures.
• Identify authoritative sources, ownership boundaries, survivorship rules, and semantic relationships.
• Conduct domain discovery and business architecture analysis to understand processes and information needs.
• Support MDM initiatives by defining governance requirements and data concepts.
• Define semantic requirements for AI, knowledge-graph, and semantic-layer solutions.
• Develop modeling standards, governance practices, and documentation for reusable assets.
