Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare in Utah seeks a Senior Data Governance Analyst to design and implement metadata, reference data, and data quality programs. You will work with stakeholders to translate business concepts into computable models and ensure consistent enterprise definitions.

You will partner with teams to align semantic models with data assets, establish glossaries, and support MDM and AI-enabled solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience in data cataloging, data lineage, data classification, reference data management, and business glossary management.
• Experience with system and data integration via API.
• Advanced SQL skills and knowledge of database design, ETL processes and data mapping.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual and semantic models for enterprise domains and support AI use cases.
• Translate business concepts into computable semantic structures for MDM, analytics, and AI solutions.
• Partner with owners, stewards, and engineers to align models with data architectures.
• Establish and maintain enterprise glossaries, ontologies, taxonomies, and reference-data structures.
• Define semantic requirements for AI, knowledge graphs, and semantic layers.
