Job summary

Capital One is seeking a Sr. Process Manager in Richmond, VA to oversee cross-functional process improvements, data analysis, and governance. You will partner with Risk, PMO, and leadership to implement changes, maintain process documentation, and train junior team members.

Strong BPM/PM/Risk experience is required, with a Bachelor's degree or military background preferred. This role may include incentive compensation.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office or G Suite.
• 2 years of experience in Business Process Management, Project Management, Relationship Management or Risk Management.
• Bachelor’s Degree or military experience (preferred).
• Experience with data governance frameworks and metadata standards (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple processes: monitor, report, and plan improvements; define controls.
• Collect, analyze, and measure process data; report to senior leadership.
• Resolve complex problems; escalate and involve stakeholders to fix breakdowns.
• Maintain formal process documents and create project reports and diagrams.
• Collaborate on larger initiatives; represent department in change control forums.
• Coach and train junior PM levels on processes and goals.
• Provide customer service and training to internal customers; may present to executives.
• May perform process tasks as needed.
