Job summary
Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Senior Data Governance Analyst to lead data strategy and governance within the enterprise data platform. You will document metadata, define data quality rules, and collaborate with data stewards, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate analytics and compliant data usage.
The role requires strong SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI skills, plus experience with data catalogs, PII handling, and governance workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Management, Data Science, CS, or related field.
- 5+ years in data governance, data management, or related roles.
- Proficiency in SQL, Snowflake, and Power BI; experience with data catalogs and governance tools.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit metadata, certify data, and improve data quality.
- Maintain data definitions and metadata across domains; document data lineage.
- Review data translation/transformation requirements for data warehousing.
- Identify data quality issues and implement remediation and monitoring.
