Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead data strategy and optimize the enterprise data platform. You will build scalable data pipelines, consolidate data sources, and enable data-driven insights across revenue and operations.

Responsibilities include ELT design, data governance, and collaboration with Product, Data & Technology teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. The role emphasizes leadership and scalable architecture in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• 5–7 years' experience in Data Engineer roles and at least 3 years in a senior technical role.
• Proficiency in building and optimizing big data pipelines and data warehouses.
• Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services and data integration.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases and data lake/warehouse best practices.
• Strong knowledge of Kafka, Spark, ESB or similar streaming tech.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to support data infrastructure needs and ensure timely data delivery.
• ELT data from internal and third-party sources into data lake using Snowflake and Informatica tools.
• Assemble large, complex data sets meeting business requirements.
• Design and implement process improvements for scalable data delivery and infrastructure.
• Build data extraction/loading processes using SQL and ELT tools; configure Informatica Cloud.
• Design and build analytics to provide insights on revenue, efficiency and expenses.
