Job summary

Guild Mortgage Company seeks a BI Engineer to drive analytics and governance, delivering governed data solutions and dashboards across the enterprise. You will collaborate with IT, business units, and data teams to translate requirements into scalable BI platforms, ensuring data accuracy and self-service insights for leadership and operations.

The role emphasizes KPI design, data governance, and end-to-end BI delivery, with a focus on scalability, security, and cost optimization in a mortgage

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related quantitative field required.
• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in BI Analyst related roles, with 2+ years in a senior technical level role.
• Proficient with BI platforms, mainly Power BI and Tableau.
• Well-versed in MS Azure Services related to BI/Analytics.
• Expert in Power BI Administration and Development with relevant certifications.
• Proficient in designing and rolling out SDLC processes for BI platforms.
• Proficient in Data Governance, Stewardship, and Metadata Management.
• Experience with SQL across multiple RDBMS and NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and Vendor to maintain BI applications and platforms for enterprise use.
• Establish governance processes and roll out adoption across user community.
• Work with stakeholders to translate data needs into governed solutions and dashboards.
• Deliver live dashboards and reports across multiple platforms, focusing on self-service enablement.
• Analyze data and KPIs to define new metrics for business operations and strategic needs.
• Maintain metadata ownership and KPI stewardship for consistent enterprise usage.
• Identify and document BCP/DR requirements for analytics platforms.
• Provide data, reports, and information to management as needed.
