Pearson is seeking a Data Engineer / Full Stack Engineer to build scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and data pipelines. You will work across Django DRF, Nuxt/Vue, and AWS serverless, focusing on data quality, security, and scalable cloud architectures.

The role blends backend, frontend, and data engineering in a distributed Agile setting. The compensation aligns with market ranges, with emphasis on location-based pay and experience.

Formación

• Strong Python-based backend development with Django/DRF.
• Experience building RESTful APIs with DRF/OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Hands-on AWS serverless architecture (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge).
• Frontend experience with Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript.
• Data engineering pipelines with AWS Glue, Pandas, NumPy.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and containerization with Docker.
• PostgreSQL design, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Security best practices and IAM/Secrets management.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and DRF.
• Build and document RESTful APIs using DRF/OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Implement data validation with Pydantic and secure auth with Knox/OAuth.
• Create modern frontend apps with Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript.
• Develop data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery.
• Manage cloud infra with AWS CDK and Terraform; containerize with Docker.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ensure code quality.
