Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Data Engineer / Full Stack Engineer to design and build Python-based backend services, data pipelines, and cloud-native solutions using Django, DRF, Nuxt, and AWS. Qualifications

• Proven experience building Python/Django REST APIs with DRF.
• Experience with Nuxt 4, Vue 3, and TypeScript.
• Hands-on AWS serverless, CDK, Terraform, and IAM security.
• Strong data engineering experience with AWS Glue and ETL/ELT.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable backend services.
• Build RESTful APIs and API docs.
• Develop data pipelines and ETL workflows.
• Implement authentication using OAuth and django-rest-knox.
• Develop frontend with Nuxt 4 and Vue 3.
