Pearson is hiring a Data Engineer / Full Stack Engineer to architect and maintain scalable backend services in Python/Django and modern frontend with Nuxt/Vue. You’ll work with AWS serverless, data pipelines, and API integrations across enterprise platforms in an Agile, distributed team.

The role emphasizes security, quality, and scalable data workflows. The ideal candidate combines backend and frontend capabilities with strong data engineering experience, including AWS Glue, Pandas, and NumPy,

Competenze

Proficient Python backend development with Django and DRF, building scalable APIs and data pipelines.
Experience designing RESTful APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger documentation.
Strong data validation and API modeling using Pydantic.
Auth mechanisms including django-rest-knox, OAuth, and Azure AD integrations.

Mansioni

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, and DRF.
