Job summary

SHI One, part of SHI's Advanced Solutions Group, builds new data engineering solutions for internal users, customers and partners. The Senior Data Engineer analyzes, designs, and develops ETL workflows and data integration, establishing a new data engineering practice and serving as a technical leader.

You will drive data strategy, collaborate with teams, optimize end-to-end data architecture, and produce docs and diagrams for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 10+ years developing data applications, relational databases, and ETL platforms.
• Experience building reliable ETL systems that support critical operations.
• Expert data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.
• Expert SQL scripting knowledge.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Drive data strategy and data warehouses, standards, and analytics systems.
• Mentor via code/design reviews to ensure quality integration.
• Lead in data architecture design and documentation for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teams and customers for smooth data systems.
• Improve ETL processes and data engineering tooling for efficiency.
• Oversee end-to-end data architecture, security, testing, and tech choices.
• Create architecture diagrams and maintain technical docs.
