Job summary

SHI One is an exciting team within the Advanced Solutions Group of SHI that is building new digital experiences for our internal users, customers and partners. The Senior Data Engineer will design and develop data engineering and ETL workflows, collaborating with customers and internal stakeholders to meet business needs and deliver scalable data solutions.

You will research data sources, outline integration designs, and help establish a new data engineering practice as a technical leader within

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• Minimum 10 years' experience developing data applications, relational databases, and ETL platforms.
• Experience building highly available and testable ETL systems that support critical business operations.
• Expert knowledge of data modeling, database design, and data warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Drive data strategy including data model designs and data warehousing standards.
• Coach team members through code and design reviews to ensure quality integration.
• Lead with high-quality solutions and strong technical standards.
• Coordinate with development teams, stakeholders, and customers for smooth data systems.
• Extend and support a data engineering environment focused on developer experience.
• Suggest continuous improvements for data and ETL processes.
• Participate in end-to-end data architecture optimization including technology selection.
