Job summary

Justjoin is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a 3–4 month full-time project to transform a spreadsheet-driven backend into a scalable Data Warehouse. You will own data pipelines, collaborate with Finance and Operations, and deliver a robust data platform with clean data and governance.

The role requires strong SQL, data modeling, and experience building data warehouses, with a focus on independence and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling capabilities.
• Experience designing and building Data Warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the current data setup (Google Sheets backend).
• Design and build a stable, scalable Data Warehouse.
• Migrate data from multiple sources and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Ensure high data quality and maintainability.
• Create a frontend/interface for Finance and Operations teams.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Take ownership from analysis to handover.
• Document architecture and processes.
