Job summary

Jobgether SRL is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer to design and optimize scalable data warehouses, build reliable ELT pipelines, and partner with data scientists in a globally distributed, fully remote environment.

You will work with ClickHouse, Redshift, AWS, and dbt, driving performance, reliability, and cost efficiency while improving developer productivity across data systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and optimizing cloud data warehouses.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, particularly with dbt.
• Hands-on with ClickHouse, Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake or similar.
• Experience building data pipelines using Prefect or Airflow.
• Solid understanding of warehouse architecture, transformation, and data quality.
• Proficient with version control, testing, automation, and code reviews.
• Collaborates with data scientists, analysts and engineers in cross-functional teams.
• Excellent English communication and ownership in distributed teams.
• Familiarity with BI tools (Superset/Sigma/Tableau/Looker) is a plus.
• Experience with Terraform and a DevOps‑oriented mindset is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance data warehouse solutions.
• Develop reliable data pipelines and ELT processes with strong data quality.
• Optimize data warehouse performance via partitioning, indexing, and tuning.
• Partner with analysts and data scientists to transform data into analytics.
• Monitor and improve reliability, cost efficiency, and scalability.
• Promote best practices for clean, structured data and documentation.
• Integrate data platforms with cloud services and tools like dbt and SQL.
• Contribute to developer-facing data tools and CI/CD practices.
• Support data transformation and modeling initiatives across teams.
• Drive automation, testing, and code reviews in data systems.
