Job summary

phData, a remote-first data and AI consultancy with teams across the United States, Latin America, and India, is seeking a Software/Data Engineer to translate complex data challenges into production-ready solutions. You will work with Java, Python, and/or Scala, write scalable SQL, and ensure performance, security, and robust data integration.

Collaboration with clients and documentation of architectures are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience as Software Engineer, Data Engineer or Data Analyst.
• Ability to develop end-to-end technical solutions into production with performance, security, and scalability in mind.
• Proficiency in Java, Python and/or Scala.
• Core cloud data platforms: Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks and GCP.
