Job summary

Life360 is seeking a Staff Data Engineer for the Data Platform Core to scale our data infrastructure used by millions of families. You will own end-to-end pipelines from raw ingestion to clean, modeled datasets in our Databricks Lakehouse.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience with high-volume data systems, strong SQL/Python, and experience with AI-native development and AI tooling integrations. Position offers remote-first work across the US and Canada.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience with high-volume data infrastructure.
• Strong background in Databricks, AWS, Spark, Airflow, SQL, and Python.
• Familiarity with data quality frameworks and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable data platforms for real-time and batch analytics.
• Own ingestion, ETL, storage, and serving pipelines end-to-end.
