Job summary

TrustYou is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the design and implementation of our core data infrastructure, leveraging AI-native engineering and agentic AI workflows. You will own distributed, real-time architectures, build robust pipelines, and uphold high-quality AI code generation.

You will mentor engineers and drive architectural excellence across the data stack. The role emphasizes hands-on ownership, deep Kafka and ClickHouse expertise, and collaboration within a remote-first,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years focused on Data Engineering.
• Deep Kafka expertise for building scalable, real-time architectures.
• Strong OLAP experience, expertise in ClickHouse preferred.
• Fluency in Python and SQL for complex data manipulation.
• Experience with Claude Code for agentic AI-assisted development.
• Hands-on Docker, Kubernetes and automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive use of open-source tools in the modern data stack.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a transparent, feedback-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive end-to-end data infrastructure with a focus on scalability and maintainability.
• Design and optimize production-grade, real-time data pipelines.
• Lead Spec-Driven Development and Model Context Protocol for reliable AI code generation.
• Orchestrate AI workflows with Claude Code to accelerate development.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in architectural reviews.
