Job summary

AnewHealth is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize complex data systems for Pharmacy Benefit Management clients. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that drive powerful analytics and improve financial and clinical outcomes.

The role emphasizes strong SQL, data modeling, ETL, and cloud experience, along with a commitment to Agile practices and mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field, or 4+ years of related experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science preferred.
• 10+ years of SQL database development with Microsoft SQL Server tools.
• 5+ years Data Warehouse methodologies.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (Azure, AWS).
• Strong data modeling and OLAP knowledge.
• Experience with PowerShell and Python.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver data solutions per requirements and schedules.
• Maintain and optimize SQL/ETL processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to evaluate systems and plan future development.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Monitor database performance and implement indexing strategies.
• Troubleshoot data issues and support pharmacy claim processes.
