Job summary

Healthie, an AI-enabled EHR platform, is hiring a Senior Data Engineer for remote work. You will lead the data warehouse design, build scalable analytics pipelines, and enforce strict data isolation to protect customer data while enabling robust reporting across teams.

You will work with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, dbt, and AWS data tools, collaborating with engineering, support, and product teams. A strong emphasis on data quality, observability, and HIPAA compliance is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering experience spanning data and infrastructure.
• Proficient in SQL and relational databases (PostgreSQL and Snowflake preferred).
• Implemented database-level access control (row/column security, RBAC).
• Operated production data pipelines, diagnosed CDC failures and schema drift.
• Fluent in Terraform or similar IaC; prefer codified provisioning.
• Partnered with non-engineering teams to translate reporting asks into useful models.
• Scripting in Ruby and SQL; deep backend experience not required.
• Treat cloud spend as an engineering problem; trace cost to config.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and scaling of the data warehouse and analytics platform.
