Job summary

BioAgilytix is seeking a hands-on Data Engineer to lead design and support of our Enterprise Data Platform. You will build scalable ELT pipelines and data models powering analytics, sponsor reporting, and AI initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Laboratory Operations and IT to ensure governance, data quality, and regulatory compliance across lab operations. The role requires Snowflake, dbt, Python, and AWS expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, data science, or related field.
• 3+ years designing and supporting enterprise-scale data engineering solutions in production environments.
• 3+ years with Snowflake as primary cloud data platform, including performance optimization and governance.
• Strong SQL and Python for data engineering, automation, and data quality.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support scalable enterprise data platforms for analytics, operations, sponsor reporting, regulatory compliance, and AI initiatives.
• Build and maintain production-grade ELT pipelines integrating data from LIMS, ERP, CRM, APIs and cloud sources.
• Develop modular data transformation frameworks with automated testing, documentation, lineage, version control, and deployment automation.
• Develop dimensional data models, semantic models and governed datasets across the organization.
• Ensure data integrity, lineage, reproducibility, and compliance with GxP, GLP, HIPAA, and 21 CFR Part 11.
