Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to support installation, operation, and maintenance of data center infrastructure. The role involves rack-and-stack, cabling, equipment provisioning, testing, and safe, standards-compliant work in Texas environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data center operations or IT infrastructure support.
• Familiarity with data center hardware, racks, servers and cabling.
• Ability to interpret installation docs and MOPs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers, network devices, and storage per designs.
• Install and dress copper/fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs, connect to power sources, verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment, install hardware, and OOB management.
• Perform basic testing, MACD tasks, FRU replacements per procedures.
• Maintain installation records, test results, and inventory.
• Identify design or safety issues and escalate as needed.
