Job summary

Ericsson is seeking a Data Center Services Technician to install, configure, and maintain infrastructure in Texas data centers. You will handle rack-and-stack, cabling, testing, and provisioning with safety and quality at the forefront.

collaboration with teams and customers is essential as you support standard deployment tasks. The role emphasizes independent work, physical readiness to lift up to 50 lbs, and adherence to telecom and ERIC standards while contributing to ongoing data center

Qualifications

• 1+ years in data center operations or related IT infra support.
• Working knowledge of data center hardware, racks, and networking gear.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and installation docs.

Responsibilities

• Install and deploy servers and network devices per designs and docs.
• Route and terminate copper and fiber cabling with proper labeling.
• Install PDUs, connect to power, and verify connectivity.
• Provision equipment and perform basic testing and turn-up procedures.
• Execute moves, adds and changes following approved procedures.
• Maintain installation records and update inventory.
