Job summary

Ll Oefentherapie in Chicago, IL is seeking a hardware installation and maintenance technician to support enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure. You will install, configure, rack, and power servers and coordinate with internal provisioning teams.

You'll handle break/fix of FRUs, troubleshoot telecom connectivity and network switches, document activities, and update SOPs. Experience with structured cabling and fiber/copper testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Hardware installation and configuration skills for enterprise servers.
• Experience with FRU break/fix replacements.
• Rack installation and provisioning coordination.

• Hardware installation & configuration of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure.
• Hardware Break/Fix replacement of FRUs
• Rack installation including putting racks in place, cabling, power up and handoff of servers to internal provisioning teams.
• Troubleshooting and resolve Telco Connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot & Replace Network Switch equipment.
• Communicate within a ticketing environment used by Oracle Cloud service owners and teams.
• Documentation of activities and build/modify SOPs.
• Structured cabling, labelling, and troubleshooting of fiber/copper/telecom cables.
• System power supplies and cabling install, fix and repair.
