Job summary

Michels Infrastructure Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager - Above Ground Structural to lead field execution on large-scale data center and mission-critical projects.

You will oversee above-ground structural construction, steel erection, equipment supports, decking, and related scopes, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, safety, and project controls teams, manage subcontractors, develop sequencing and lift plans, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 7+ years of structural construction/field leadership experience.
• Experience leading above-ground structural scopes on data center or mission-critical projects is essential.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel erection, crane operations, and sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Lead field execution of above-ground structural construction for mission-critical projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, field leadership, and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery.
• Review drawings, specs, schedules, lift plans, and erection plans to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Support constructability reviews, planning, procurement coordination, and execution strategy development.
• Identify risks and develop practical solutions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to customer expectations across all activities.
