Job summary

Lenovo is seeking a Senior Technology Sales Engineer for Inside Technical Sales to support the Data Center line. The role focuses on designing, configuring and presenting solutions, demos, and responses to customer and partner requests from the Morrisville area and neighboring states.

The candidate will partner with Lenovo Sales, Lenovo Technical Sales, and partners to drive opportunities and meet revenue targets within the Pacific Northwest/AZ territory. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in a technical sales role or 5+ years as a Data Center systems administrator.
• Knowledge of VMware, Linux, Hyper‑V, Windows Server, NetApp Storage, Azure, Nutanix and systems management products.
• Experience with x86 servers and storage arrays, Lenovo server/ storage products.
• Familiarity with HPC cluster components and high‑speed interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Architect Data Center solutions from Lenovo portfolio including AI servers and HPC clusters.
• Build configurations, demos, and review interoperability to meet client needs.
• Drive and support sales to meet revenue targets.
• Contribute to technical responses for proposals.
• Assist training of channel partners on tools and direction.
• Size HPC/AI infrastructure balancing compute, GPU, memory, storage, network, power, cooling.
