Job summary

Lenovo is seeking an ISG Solution Architect in the North East US to drive field sales for our Data Center portfolio. You will design, position, and deliver tailored data center solutions, partnering with customers, sales teams, and ecosystem partners.

This highly customer-facing role requires deep technical expertise, solution-selling skills, and the ability to build trusted relationships across technical practitioners and executive leadership. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7 to 10+ years of experience in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong consultative selling skills with excellent verbal, written, listening, and presentation abilities.
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites and industry events as required.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
• Develop and deliver compelling technical presentations and solution content to a broad customer audience.
• Architect end-to-end Data Center solutions using Lenovo products, services, and partner technologies.
• Support and drive sales objectives to meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets.
• Lead configurations, demonstrations, and interoperability discussions to meet customer requirements.
• Manage and support customer PoC and PoT engagements.
• Represent Lenovo at industry trade shows, events, seminars, and customer briefings.
• Ensure successful deployment of sold solutions and deliver an outstanding customer experience post-sale.
