Job summary

CoreWeave, the essential cloud for AI, seeks a Senior Site Due Diligence Design Engineer to lead technical evaluation of prospective data center sites. This role serves as the bridge between Site Selection and Design & Engineering, assessing electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural feasibility.

You will work with data center providers, utilities, landlords, and partners, document risks, guide early design decisions, and hand off to Design Manager after lease or acquisition.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center engineering, MEP consulting, site selection, due diligence, or early-phase design/development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering—or equivalent relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial technical evaluator for prospective data center sites across electrical, mechanical, architectural, civil, and IT/LV.
• Coordinate early design discussions and handoffs to design managers.
• Review provider proposals, capacity offers, and drawings for alignment with CoreWeave design principles.
• Prepare technical assessments and go/no-go recommendations to guide site progression.
• Travel to prospective data center locations as required.
