Job summary

CoreWeave seeks a Senior Site Due Diligence Design Engineer to lead the technical evaluation of prospective data center sites and to serve as the bridge between Site Selection and the broader Design & Engineering organization.

You will work with data center providers, utilities, landlords, and partners to clarify offerings, identify risks, and shape early concept direction, ensuring CoreWeave’s requirements are understood from day one. Expect frequent regional travel to sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center engineering, MEP consulting, site selection, due diligence, or early-phase design/development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering—or equivalent relevant experience.
• Broad technical competency across electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, and architectural fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial technical evaluator for prospective data center sites across electrical, mechanical, architectural, civil, and IT/LV considerations.
• Support site evaluation and feasibility efforts by identifying technical risks, constraints, opportunities, and required upgrades.
• Lead design team activities from concept through lease execution/acquisition, coordinating early design work.
• Review proposals, capacity offers, utility data, and site layouts for alignment with CoreWeave design principles.
• Interface with landlords, utilities, developers, and data center providers during due diligence.
• Prepare technical assessments and go/no-go recommendations for site advancement.
