Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Site Due Diligence Design Engineer to lead the technical evaluation of prospective data center sites. You will act as the engineering bridge between Site Selection and Design & Engineering, assessing power, cooling, structure, and regulatory feasibility while coordinating with landlords, utilities, and partners from day one.

Frequent travel to sites is required. The role emphasizes strong engineering judgment, independent work, and clear written assessments to guide

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center engineering, site selection, or early-phase design.
• Broad technical competency across electrical, mechanical, civil/structural, and architectural fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial technical evaluator for prospective data center sites, across multi-discipline considerations.
• Identify technical risks, constraints, opportunities, and required upgrades during site evaluation.
• Lead design-related activities from concept through lease execution or acquisition.
• Review proposals, capacity offers, and drawings to ensure alignment with CoreWeave design principles.
• Interface with landlords, utilities, developers, and data center providers during diligence.
• Prepare technical assessments and go/no-go recommendations for site advancement.
• Develop dashboards to track progress, risks, and milestones across candidate sites.
• Evaluate land use, zoning, and entitlement feasibility for schedule impact.
• Handover to Design Manager after lease or acquisition for full project design.
• Travel to prospective sites across the region as required.
