Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Senior Site Due Diligence Design Engineer to evaluate prospective data center sites, bridging site selection with the broader Design & Engineering organization. You will assess power, cooling, land use, and regulatory factors, coordinating with landlords, utilities, and partners from initial concept through lease execution and handover to the Design Manager.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of data center engineering and site selection experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to evaluate multi-discipline issues and communicate assessments clearly.
• Experience with utility infrastructure and site feasibility considerations.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief leadership.
• Willingness to travel regionally to prospective sites.

Responsibilities

• Act as the initial technical evaluator for data center sites across electrical, mechanical, architectural, civil, and IT/LV disciplines.
• Lead early design discussions and coordinate design activities during pre-lease phases.
• Review proposals, capacity offers, utility data, and drawings to ensure alignment with CoreWeave’s design principles.
• Prepare technical assessments and go/no-go recommendations for site advancement.
• Coordinate with landlords, utilities, developers, and data center providers during due diligence.
• Ensure technical requirements are reflected in LOIs and preliminary agreements.
• Structured handover to Design Manager after lease execution or site acquisition.
