Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking a Data Center Design Manager to lead the architectural, MEP, and LV/IT infrastructure designs for leased data center facilities. You will coordinate with internal teams and external consultants to ensure designs meet performance and efficiency standards, while managing budgets and schedules.

Up to 30% travel to data center sites is required. The role emphasizes cross‑functional collaboration, design reviews, and ongoing support into the Fit Out construction phase.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Network, LV/Cabling or related) or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience in data center engineering or design.
• Strong knowledge of data center white space, cooling systems, power distribution, network architecture, and LV/IT design.
• Experience with large‑scale, high‑density data centers and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with strong project management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
• Professional certifications (e.g., Uptime Institute, BICSI, LEED) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design and coordination of multiple data center fit-out projects.
• Act as the primary design contact, coordinating with data center providers, A/E firms, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal SMEs across electrical, mechanical, and LV/IT disciplines.
• Ensure designs meet performance, efficiency, and scalability standards.
• Review OFCI equipment submittals and support budget/schedule coordination.
• Participate in design reviews, provide feedback on operations, and commissioning plans.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports to leadership and teams.
• Conduct site visits to review design implementation and progress.
