Job summary

Divcon Controls, a Dallas-based automation specialist, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex BAS/MEP building automation projects across multiple sites from planning to delivery.

You will drive strategy, cross-functional coordination, and stakeholder engagement with clients, engineering teams, and senior leadership to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery meeting top technical standards. 95% travel required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction project or program management, ideally in BAS or MEP environments.
• Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing high-value, multi-phase projects.
• Deep knowledge of building automation, HVAC controls, and electrical/commissioning systems.
• Strong business acumen with experience in financial oversight, reporting, and resource planning.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—from technicians to C-suite.
• Proficiency with project management software (Procore, MS Project) and financial tools.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years (or training provided).

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project execution across multiple BAS construction projects.
• Direct and mentor project teams, including field staff, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Own project portfolio performance—scope, budget, schedule, and quality—monthly reporting to senior executives.
• Oversee all contract documentation, change orders, procurement, and vendor coordination.
• Collaborate closely with clients to build trust, manage expectations, and serve as primary escalation point.
• Evaluate and approve engineering designs, submittals, and BoMs for compliance and efficiency.
• Mitigate risk through proactive planning, forecasting, and issue resolution.
• Standardize best practices across projects to drive efficiency and quality in delivery.
• Ensure compliance with Divcon’s internal systems (DivPro), safety standards, and documentation protocols.
