Job summary

Divcon Controls in Dallas, TX, is seeking a Project Executive to lead the most complex building automation and critical data center projects from deal setup to closeout and ongoing service relationships. You will spend substantial time in the field (50%+), coordinating with sales, engineering, operations, and subcontractors to ensure delivery excellence.

The role requires 10+ years in BAS/MEP environments, 5+ years in senior PM leadership, and a track record of managing projects over $20M.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in building automation, electrical construction, or mission-critical MEP environments.
• 5+ years in a senior project management or executive-level role overseeing multi-site or large-scale projects.
• Experience delivering mission-critical data center projects (Tier III/IV, hyperscale, or colocation).
• Proven ability to manage complex project portfolios exceeding $20M annually.
• Strong understanding of BAS/BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and related control systems.
• Expertise in construction contracts, change order workflows, and subcontractor management.
• OSHA 30 certification obtained within the past two years; training provided if not current.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full lifecycle delivery of multiple concurrent BAS/EPMS/controls projects.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, safely and in compliance with Divcon standards.
• Lead major project meetings and executive-level reporting.
• Drive proactive management of cost, schedule, risk, and procurement.
• Communicate risks, changes, and strategies clearly and professionally.
• Directly supervise Project Managers, Project Engineers, and field leadership.
• Support recruiting and succession planning for future leadership needs.
