Job summary

SSOE Group seeks a Senior Project Manager (Data Centers) to lead multi-discipline data center projects from scope development to commissioning. You will collaborate with in-house engineering and architecture teams to meet industry standards in power-intensive, high-tech environments across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in Engineering and Construction.
• Proven experience managing greenfield data center projects in an engineering consulting environment.
• Strong contract management, pre-construction, renovations, and construction administration knowledge.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams on complex industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases, ensuring effective team development and performance.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary contact for project delivery.
• Define scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align capabilities with project needs.
• Execute projects within approved budget, funding, and schedule per the Project Execution Plan.
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance, ensuring quality and contractual compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate issues to leadership.
• Coordinate meetings and maintain thorough documentation across stakeholders.
• Approve and issue project documents and generate client reports as required.
• Manage invoicing, review financials, and support cash flow with the accounting team.
• Manage contracts for external consultants and services with procurement support.
• Mentor project managers and address feedback and corrective actions.
