Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for data centers and AI facilities with a technical leadership role across scope development to commissioning. You will collaborate with in-house engineering and architecture teams to meet industry standards on high-stakes projects across North America.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited program.
• PE license with ability to become registered in additional states.
• At least 12 years of experience in electrical engineering facilities design with data center exposure.
• Experience with 400VDC, 800VDC, or 1500VDC distribution systems.
• Knowledge of NEC and IEC standards; strong leadership and communication; client relationship management; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical SME on data center projects, crafting innovative design solutions.
• Provide expert advisory services and represent the firm in meetings and discussions.
• Lead planning, development, and coordination of medium to large engineering projects or portfolios.
• Mentor and coach less-experienced staff to develop teams.
• Travel is required.
