Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Data Centers) to shape future data center and AI factory projects. You will collaborate with in-house engineering and architecture teams to meet scope, schedule, and quality from development to startup.

The role offers hybrid work with possible remote days and a competitive compensation package. This senior position emphasizes leadership, client relationship management, and cross-discipline project delivery across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture or 4 years of related experience.
• At least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in Engineering and Construction.
• Experience managing design or construction of greenfield data center projects.
• Advanced knowledge of contract management, pre-construction, renovations, and construction administration.
• Experience with multi-office projects and remote teams; strong client relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations; valid driver’s license and passport.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases with team development and coordination.
• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary contact for project delivery.
• Define scope, develop work plans, allocate resources, and align capabilities.
• Execute projects within approved budget, funding, and schedule.
• Oversee technical, cost, and schedule performance to ensure quality and contract compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate issues to leadership.
• Coordinate meetings, document thoroughly, and report progress to clients.
• Manage contracts with external consultants and services; support procurement.
• Mentor project managers and assist in business development and pursuits.
