QTS Realty Trust is seeking a Project Delivery Manager III to oversee multi-site, large-scale tenant fit-outs across data center facilities. You will partner with Solutions Engineering and Development teams early in the sales cycle to define scope, estimate schedules and costs, and manage delivery upon contract execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent professional experience in lieu of a degree.
• Seven or more years of direct experience in (interior) data center construction project management.
• Experience with various contract types, contract negotiation and management, business risk and liability handling.
• Knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

Responsibilities

• Support multi-site and multi-megawatt tenant fit out projects commonly derived from Hyperscale customer requirements.
• Work with construction managers and specialized contractors or data center integrators to develop comprehensive project budget and schedule.
• Spearhead strategic planning and execution of complex, high-value projects, with a focus on meeting the unique requirements of Hyperscale customers.
• Take a proactive approach to risk management and contingency planning, identifying potential risks and opportunities, developing mitigation strategies, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to minimize delays and costs.
• Adhere to development policies with emphasis on environmental health and safety on sites under active construction.
• Identify long lead and critical path items to influence tenant fit out scope and customer decision making abilities.
