Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager for the DCDE Central Operations team to lead complex, multi-disciplinary programs focused on data center planning and execution. You will interface between site leads, internal partners, and vendors to deliver operational improvements, ML progress, and policy updates while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in program management.
• 5 years of experience working with data center or other mission critical equipment/environments.
• 5 years of experience managing process improvement or construction programs in an environment.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage program initiative charter with internal stakeholders to strategize, plan, and prioritize objectives.
• Identify resources best suited to participate and contribute to an initiative project.
• Manage, monitor and communicate progress, risks, and mitigations of the project initiative.
• Ensure goals and objectives are met with clear implementation strategy and quantified impacts.
• Develop communication and rollout strategy, reporting on ML progress, mitigations, and learnings.
