Akamai Technologies is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Center Operations to build a new US-based organization within Infrastructure focused on operational excellence in hyperscale pods at wholesale colocation facilities. You will drive rapid equipment deployment and maintain all assets to meet SLAs.

• 10+ years of relevant experience in data center or infrastructure operations.
• Experience with data center vendors and large-scale deployment environments.
• Proven ability to develop and engage teams and drive process improvements.
• Experience guiding teams through process changes and realignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team supervising field technician contractors across hyperscale pods in the US.
• Build relationships with system integrators and data center providers for deployments and operations.
• Oversee inventory control, RMA coordination, and access management with Compliance.
• Ensure 24x7 staffing, incident response, and SLA adherence.
• Update training curriculum and coordinate staffing for field technicians.
