Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Data Center Account Manager to lead relationships with Data Center Operators and manage strategic projects that support Akamai's global network infrastructure.

You will analyze the Data Center landscape, negotiate favorable terms, and coordinate with partners to enable scalable, high-density deployments. This role spans multiple regions and requires effective communication and project leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Center Account Management or related field.
• Strong negotiation and contract negotiation capabilities.
• Solid knowledge of Internet, interconnection space and Data Center marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Data Center Operators to meet Akamai's needs for deploying high density servers.
• Organize regular business reviews with Data Centers to plan upcoming projects.
• Analyze Data Center landscape to identify right technical and commercial terms.
• Work with Partners and Vendors to identify cost-effective relationships and execute agreements.
• Manage contract negotiations to ensure Akamai's platforms scale efficiently.
• Ensure capacity upgrades in a timely/effective manner with provisioning teams.
